Procession: An Exhibition

Procession: An Exhibition brings together a collection of objects from Jeremy Deller’s Procession, which will make it’s way along Deansgate, Manchester at 2pm on Sunday 5 July. The exhibition will include a specially commissioned film of the 5 July Procession, hand-made banners made by Ed Hall and a replica of Valerie’s Café, Bury Market. These elements will sit within a lineage of historical material and folklore relating to Mahatma Ghandi, Jerry Lee Lewis, Yuri Gagarin and the Blackout Crew.
